Patrick413 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 HI guys, I got a wierd one. I did a build in feburary and as of a couple days ago, my system freezes at the boot screen showing only AMD 3500+Processor blah blah but nothing else. I do a warm boot one or two times and suddenly everything is peachy. Im overclocking the RAM and Processor about 10% and the only thing Ive put on the computer recently is an Ipod. I had a second problem suddenly due to the fact that my first boot is a removable and was looking to the ipod to load, but I switched it to Harddrive and fixed this. Any ideas? The next thing to show up in the boot screen is RAM, am I starting to bake it?
Reinvented Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 We need to know things such as the bios version you are using, your genie bios and stuff. Have you tried clearing the cmos? You will probably have to start over again.

Patrick413 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 hi guys, good tip but today i ruled out overclocking. AlsoI found out this problem is only on cold boots and never on warm boots. My Power supply is pretty hefty but i could imagine that my 3 hard drives and periphery are all starting up on cold boot, leaving my RAM sad and undervolted. Could it be? RGone Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Whatever bios you are "currently" using reflash it and clear the cmos as shown in the sticky's and retest. RGone...
