Mr.x Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 ok i have 3 brand new hdds all 7200 rpm 2x 120gb 7200 on raid 0 1x 80gb hdd 7200 used hdd 1x 60gb hdd 5400 with 20 gbs left over.. so now the question is should i put windows on a partiton on the 60gb hdd..or put it on one of the 7200s...speed increase..but will it be worth it... Psywar Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 actually.. id just go with what ever HD has the fastest seek time.. yes RPMs will help.. but some of the 5400rpm drives have a faster seek time.. and thus.. your computer will be faster.. and well everything is based around windows.. so theoreticly it would be the best choice..
