Badmonkey005 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Wait a minute. If I am using AS5 how much should I use? Or should I spread it? I only ask since it is not like the processor where you have the heatspreader and the core is in the middle, it is actual chip-heat sink contact. If it was part of the PCB you'd be SOL lol
AnUnknownSource Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I thought about lapping the bottom of my chipset cooler, but honestly my unmodded cooler has my chipset idling cooler than most of the reports I see for idle modded coolers... maybe it's an airflow thing, maybe I just got lucky and got a really well done application... who knows
