    6850 Outdated?

    This is kinda of a silly question. There is no new card out that replaced the 6850 yet. Why would you think it's outdated?

     

    It's like saying the Iphone 4S is outdated, when there is no new model out yet so how can it?

    i didn't mean it like that, its just when i visited blogs and forums they said the 6850 would barely play it

    My Spinpoint F3 1TB was doing the same thing, today it started clicking and is no longer recognized by my pc. I called Samsung and already shipped it out to be RMA'd. Estimated time to receive my new drive is 4-7 business days.

     

    I have 3 of these drives that I bought at the same time about a year ago. 2 of the 3 were DOA and had to RMA them right off the bat. This makes 3/3 bad drives. Won't be purchasing Samsung drives again.

    ohhh, did you have to fill a form and reason or something for RMA

    i am sure you will be able to BF3 with that machine at that resolution probably at medium settings for a smooth run.

    any OC on your system?

    no oc, do you reckon i could even go to high?, i cant run crysis 2 on the max but i can play it on extreme with the DX11 + High Res Texture pack

    I also have a f3 and i experience similar slowdown and i'm going to see if I can get it changed, most annoying part about that is having to reinstall everything :/

     

    My issues started after I tried changing the resolution on the battlefield 3 beta, then my computer crashed really hard, had to revert back to a earlier state ( exact name of the function escapes me atm).

     

    Anyway, I ran some tests on it and most of the values seemed more or less normal except that the maximum reaction time was waay higher then what I had read it should be.

    hey....do you think i could send Samsung a message about the HDD, what would i say???

    and just note i love you guys from sweden :P

    hi,

    after the past few months or so my F3 1tb slowed down!

    i would run windows normally and when the HDD activity light is just on for ages i cant open file explorer or any app, it would usually just take a long time and load when the light goes off WTF?????????????

    sometimes windows would not respond and i would have to forcefully reset

    please help!!!

    please explain what i can do and what the issue is

    feel free to add suggestions :)

    i wanted to purchase a new HDD but LOOK at the prices :O:(

    I know I pre-orderd Rage and bought shift2 and stalker cop at the same time from them. Ment to go back and pre-order skyrim a week or two later and never got back to it before it was too late :-/

    Now they are out of stock and I am just saying that these guys are even better than I already thought they were. Won't be leaving a pre-order so late again, no cloth map for me :lol:

     

    This thread is praising there good service and brilliant pre-orders if you don't leave till 10 days before release, meh :dunno: what can you do..

    NFS Run - $43

    Assassins Creed Revelations - $39

    All a few pre-orders I am considering now and if prices drop in between times I am refunded the amount I paid extra if they raise I am charged no more.

    Plus I can still cancel a pre-order before it is shipped so no foul in pre-ordering early only benefits. Something I wish i knew sooner.

    i wanted to preorder RAGE but didn't have the chance and the price just increased by $10

    enter your email when the product is out of stock, i think it makes them restock (i dont know, but when i do it, it usually becomes 'Instock' after a week)

    Alright, so I got some games off this mob in the uk and was fine with the slow shipping because everything arrived in double cardboard wrapped packing for the dvd case.

    Everything worked fine and prices are on average 30-40% what I pay here for new and pre-orders.

     

    I recently contacted them about a discrepancy in something from their email newsletter and online store.

    Now that is great although I know hate myself for not pre-ordering skyrim earlier. While I made the enquiery all pre-orders allocated sold out :( oh well just have to wait a while ~$45 vs $100 I know what I choose.

    hey, i just preoredered BF3 a week ago from ozgameshop and it was $52 AUD but now it's 59 AUD. you should preorder its cheaper :)

    and which video editing software is better Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 or PowerDirector 9 Ultra 64 Edition?

    Ahh at least they are HD, I guess I would be game.

     

    I assume this is in effect a walk-through of the first, well 35-40mins of Crysis 2.

    It may convince me to buy it but it will be hard for it too beat out STALKER. However if it comes close I may be needing another fps :biggrin:

    STALKER, Great game, but so is Crysis 2. yeah my vids are sort of walkthroughs but i tried to make them gameplay, but still i hope they get a lot of views n=because they are big (in size - 1.97gb all)

    What kind of upload do you have because for them to be in any decent quality your going to be there a while especially with the lovely internet speeds up and down available here in aus.

    my Internet sucks, i have to go to NSW to upload these vids. the vids are in 720p but my monitor res is 1280x1024 so its a box.
