Hey gang,  A new video card is one of the biggest expenses you'll invest into your custom PC build. My thought is "Why don't we show them off?"

I want to inspire people to not be limited to traditional system layout.  I've created a GPU mount that allows mounting your card over the 120mm fan hole or anywhere in your PC simple modifications. The Stage 2 version doesn't require cutting opening for monitor cable(s). It's made from .5" thick solid aluminum to support the weight of large non-reference coolers or water blocks.

But what about the most important thing, SLI? Would you need some weird custom SLI ribbon or do you think you could mount them in a way that you could use a standard one?

I guess you could do one mounted to the top the way you were showing, and then the second mounted to the top next to it but reversed, so the fans are pointing the other direction?

Since when is SLI the most important thing???

Haha of course, the people who need to mount their GPU's in wild places are going to be SLI'ing them right? That way they can get better heat dispersion...

you could use the flexable sli bridges. mount one card normal and one horizontal with the top of the cards close enough to attach the bridge...

With AMD cards there is no longer a need for a bridge in multi GPU solutions so that kills the bridge question for AMD based cards. I would hope NVIDIA goes this way on their next launch again negating the need for a bridge connection. There are those bright enough to make something work for an NVIDIA solution. Where there is a need there will be a solution.
