Crysis 2 4-Years Later Reviewed

Hmm thought the skinning machines were for forced removals, given that Prophet could use Alien weaponry in the first game I would think he'd know how to willingly remove the suit :3

Based on what I saw in the game and on the Crysis Wiki (I'll check game wikis for specific facts occasionally, instead of searching out specific details in games) at least implied that the suits really are not meant to come off with how they form a symbiotic relationship with the driver. Prophet does refer to all of the people wearing the suits as "dead men walking" because of this link.

I do agree though that some means to willingly remove the suit would make sense, especially with the device in Warhead used for fitting the suits to the bodies, and Prophet's ability to remove it (though that could be explained as his body having been so changed by the Manhattan Virus that the suit could let go). Plus, how would you operate on someone seriously injured while they wear the suit, without removing it? Probably just a plot point though, for putting Alcatraz in a weakened situation (in the skinning chair).

I still wonder how the suit handles bodily waste and hunger, unless for the hunger it literally runs provides the calories of energy the body needs to function and does so efficiently that no waste is developed lol

Crysis 2 was a huge step back from the original.  I didn't even play Crysis 3 becuase it was so disappointing.  I would love a remastered Crysis though that is properly optimized.

You should, Crysis 3 was a step back forward. I enjoyed it a lot better than the second.

It's also on sale on Origin right now at just $9.99. I'm tempted to get it so I can finish reviewing the franchise, but am both busy and a little short on funds at the moment, so I will probably wait on that.

I got mine for $4.99 on amazon a while back which is my impulse buy point. Right now I'm actually scooping up all the PS3 exclusives I don't currently own for under $5 since it's about that time with PS4 coming into its own.

But yeah I just did a quick search and it looks like $10 is the cheapest Crysis 3 is right now
