That's true! Probably gonna take forever to clear customs. Me neither! Fingers crossed though!

Signs your PSU is going bad ?
mizumi replied to neko77025's topic in Cases, Power Supplies and Modding
Slowly test your parts one at a time. I'd start with the memory first using memtest. -
Wait for AMD HD7000 series. You can take a look @ Lian Li's HPTX form factor chassis. Personally I don't really like Corsair chassis as it is a SECC steel casing.

Thermaltake armor case mod build log

Keep it coming! -
If you're considering some other casing, you could take a look @ Lian Li A71F. Here's a pic of a watercooling setup using the slightly older model Lian Li A71.

Increase your clocks in steps of 10 MHz if you want to find your max clock. Stress test your settings and look for artifacts or whether if it's unstable. Continue increasing your clock until the stress test fails. Then you can move on to increasing your GPU voltage by increments of 0.01v (Not recommended if you are risk averse. )

Woah that's some messy cables you have there.

That's a nice setup.

Just signed up and seems like a very active forum! Likes to build systems and have been doing that for many of my friends and tweaking that extra bit of performance from the stock parts is always fun. Got a lot of good reads from many threads in this forum!

Wow, that's really one budget build.

As mentioned above, try MemTest your RAMs. Check if whether your CPU overheating. Else the fault probably lies with the motherboard as that was the case for me last time when I got BSODs constantly.

q9450 @3.5ghz worth upgrading to i52500k?
mizumi replied to Nemesis108's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
Don't upgrade. Only thing you need to upgrade is your GPU and that's if you want better FPS with higher in-game video settings. Otherwise, it's fine as it is. -
Should be enough if you're not doing any overclocking involving raising of voltages.

Corsair AX1200 (Gold) or Seasonic Platinum 1000W
mizumi replied to saul good's topic in Cases, Power Supplies and Modding
I'd say go with Corsair. The more power the better! -
I agree with cooluser that SSDs should be much more reliable as there are no moving parts compared to mechanical hard disks. However, there is the write endurance that needs to be taken into consideration.
