I know this site is mainly for pc tech, but I am in need an ear to vent.

So I am a cyclist, I ride on average of 10000 a year but I am not a young man anymore.

Years of riding have taking their toll on my knees (insert joke here).  So being the tech addict that I am I decided to order a DIY ebike.

I spent a week or so researching different kits and batteries and went with a 48v 1000w 26'' kits from asom for $219 and 4x 12v 10ah lead acid  for $80.

My package was deliverd yesterday and upon opening this is what I got.

I thought cycling was good for your knees; it exercises them. I figured it was better than running because it doesn't have the shock of each step.  Interesting.

not at the distances i do.

and its not good on the prostate either men who ride more than 4 hours are at a higher risk for E.d. and prostate cancer

No reason for me to ride then LOL!

Can you use a multimeter to figure out the charger?  3 pins usually will give you hot, neutral and ground. If so hot to ground will give you the answer.
