IVIYTH0S Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Hmmm, I kind of figured that's what you meant but it's so oddly specific and sadly I do not know the answer/command to make that the way explorer opens up. I'll try and find out what I can though

IVIYTH0S Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I think I'm able to pin things to the start menu with the stock Win7 shell. I'll check when I get to work on my laptop though
wingspar Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I found resolution in another forum. If I drag a desktop icon down to the start menu, wait for it to open, then drag the icon to the pin program area, it sticks. This info was actually in the Classic Menu Forum.Odd thing that happened tho. I was reading the thread on my XP machine, and when I went to turn on my Win 7 computer, all I got was spinning fans. Nothing else. The red VGA-LED light was lit. All the motherboard manual did was tell me what the light was called. Nothing about how to fix it. Well, I installed a Rosewill 1394a PC-501 card the other day, and could never get the computer to recognize it, so I removed it as step on to resolve the red light. Bingo. That worked. Got my Win 7 computer back. The Rosewill 1394a PC-501 card is 100% junk. Pure junk. My first and last Rosewill product.
