I do and my experience is that it's a very fun, addicting game, the only con is the complete lack of content after about 15-20 hours of gameplay, luckily the developers seem to plan to keep adding plenty more to it

it's an exploration and adventure game a lot like a 2d minecraft, but with a larger focus on rpg elements

just don't keep a public server

i use Hamachi just to play with group of friends, and it appears i've been successful at blocking the only guy that griefed

I have been playing this to. It is fun but the learning curve is very steep. If this was 3D like Minecraft it would be far better.

I started playing Terraria again recently and have a dedicated server up and running.  So far it's just me and one other person playing on it but we'd like to open it up to a few more people.  If you're interested in joining post here or send me a message and I'll give you the IP and password.  I just ask that you not mess with or destroy other people's buildings or stuff.  I don't care if you bring a new or old character.  I don't have any rules really other than no griefing.  At the moment it is still a normal mode server but it will probably be a hardmode server eventually.  If you join I just ask that you don't go off and kill the WoF yet until we're ready to go hardmode. 

 

The server is up 24/7 and is backed up frequently.  And I do mean frequently.  If you're a griefer I honestly wouldn't even waste your time.  The world is backed up every 15 mins so...yeah.
