feetfats Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 After MIR's and Newegg discounts come into effect, I'm guessing this card will run you $35. It's an amazing value for someone who just wants HD playback in an HTPC (small form factor, 40nm process, less power, less heat, passive cooling). I suppose
potatochobit Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 not really because the 4350 has been 35$ for a long time and the performance is pretty much the same this card might have DX11, but can it take advantage of it? that is a mystery! ccokeman Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 THe cards released at this level are meant to provide a richer experience for the end user. The people who do not overclock and have a basic prebuilt system and use the computer to do the ordinary things such as edit photos and videos, music archiving files with winzip and whatever else normal people do. Watching HD content with any one of the latest programs to offer gpu acceleration such as Cyberlinks Power DVD 9 or the latest flash player to drop the CPU usage to a level where video playback is fluid. It is in no way shape or form to be confused with a gaming card although mainstream and casual gaming are possible. it just cant handle real games because really its not meant to. For that step up and buy the real deal.
