Pteroduck Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Does it show up in any kind of windows restore programs or windows installation? Nothing at all. Right after it posts, black screen, Post, black screen, and you can hear the system restart after that. No beeps either which is odd to me
IVIYTH0S Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 (edited) What about if you attach the working drive AND that drive, booting to the one that works and seeing if you see the SSD in windows... or maybe attach it through USB or SATA after the other drive boots into windows? SpikeSoprano Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Sounds strange, the bios should say no system disc found, not just reboot .
Waco Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 You could try injecting the Z97 drivers into the installation...but I'd have expected it to boot.
Pteroduck Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 (edited) @mythos just did it. He said he can see the SSD @spike a fresh drive will boot to windows but that ssd wont... @waco injecting z97 drivers to the install? But id rather not have to reinstall Edited July 3, 2014 by Pteroduck
IVIYTH0S Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Maybe use a program to make an image of it all setup now and then do a fresh install on it and see if it works, then if it works maybe try to restore the image and maybe it'd magically work
Pteroduck Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I used reflect to back it all up and images with windows 7. Works but I still need to get home and restore the image to try that
