Is that okey to use with the Western digital drive? isnt that just for the hitachi drives?

man that sucks and to think i got this drive all the way from the US since they dont sell it here in the philippines yet:( how do you diagnose for this? is ther a program i can use?

tried the quick format its formated but odd when testing with HDtach it errors half way thru the with atto the writes are so slow as in barely any red lines then i turned smart on it says gives an error mesage at bootup:( doesn this mean the drive is damaged? or could it be ive just had some mistakes at setting it up? do i need to turn anything on for sata2? What is spread spectrum? does this need to be on? thanks

Hi i just added a western digital 250GB SATA II 16mb drive to my setup. I formated the drive last night and when i woke up this morning its still at 60%. I was thinking of just canceling it but was scared that i would damage the disk by canceling it while it was formating. What do you think is wrong? i am formating thru computer management in the administrative tools:( thanks oh the drive is pluged to sata4 on the board

Hi i have a x2 3800 stepping ccbwe 0534 that cant go anywhere over 2.3 230X10 24hour prime stable:( tried everything so far i can think of but no luck i think its a weak memory controler on this one coz 250X9 doesnt work had my ram running on my 3500 venice before this at 260X11 24 hour prime stable oh my 3dmark05 score although the mhz of my 3500+ was at 2.8+ and my x2 3800 is only at 3.2 is only 200points less?!? although super pi was at 30 seconds while now its at 37sec

arrrggg i think im one of the unlucky ones unless im running this whole prime thing wrong coz i can run super pi/3dmark05/memtest/ but prime errors out on me:( will try lowering ang running it

hey awsome guide was looking around for something like this i knew it was here a while back but took me a bit to find it still. this should be added to one of the stickies anyway just got my x2 3800 today started it running on 250X10 earlier at 2.5 4 4 8 and everyting else on auto but the second prime errored out after 3 mins. changed it to 250X9 and so far so good for around 2 hours now. are there any specific settings that are critical to the x2? the exact setup running with on my 3500 venice at 260X11 okey so i dont think its my ram. i hope im not one of the un lucky one whos x2 wont go past 2.5

Hi just got a x2 3800+ and was wondering if anyone that would be familiar with the steppings could say if this was a good one i got? i know the only way to be sure is to test but some input would be good dont wanna get my hopes to high:) thanks the stepping is (ccbwe 0534spmw)

Hi wondering if anyone could help with some advise. a friend of mine is trading in a deffective product and has a chance for an upgrade by just adding a bit of cash. i am not too familiar with the ATI cards since ive been an nvidia user ever since the geeforce2 days so not really sure how these cards stack up against each other. anyones opinion is greatly appreciated thanks
