The board is showing some preference for certain brands/models of memory. Not a huge difference, but a OC max never-the-less... I've tested the following at 400(4:3) divider, 5-5-5-15 which should be no problem, as the memory speed is 600 @ 400FSB: 1) Crucial Ballistix 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) 2) Corsair XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR2 1066 PC8500 3) OCZ 2x512Meg DDR2 OCZ2P6671GK DDR2 667 The Corsair is the best on this board booting at 405FSB and the OCZ was the worst having 385FSB as the top. Who knows what other brands do! Here we see the Corsair at 667-4-4-4-11: -
DFI Infinity Ultra II M2 711 BIOS AM2 3800 1.55Vcore(cpu-z is incorrect) OCZ 2x512 DDR667 2.2Vdimm EVGA 6600GT WD 80Gb ATA100 Rosewill 500W PSU Also no problem at high HTT. I have tested 5 other boards that had trouble at 280 with these same parts. Note SuperPI is a little faster then my other screenie....

The other lead on the Inductors is the actual "Vcore", but it's very hard to get to..... The lead you have marked is the pulse-width modulated output before being filtered... It's almost the same as Vcore, especially considering how hard it is to reach the other Inductor lead.. Back on topic, both the 815 and this 824 BIOS do not seem to like Vinnies! I'm experiencing the "250 Bug" also with both... With a decent Winchester I can get to 9X300, but that's about it... Back to 711 for me...

NF3 ultra-d new system not starting

Try your 512 stick in slot by CPU... nF3/nF4 Ultra/SLI don't like RAM of 2 different sizes unless they are 2 sets...
