  1. OK, so I have been trying some timings... 200 1:1 Enable 2 2 10 2 7 15 0(tried others) 3(tried others) 1(tried others) 2 3072 1 Increase 128 1 I have tried other Tref, but none better, and other skew, but 128 works best. I usually get 3-5 errors in test 3, 1-2 in test 4, and 205 in test 5. I've tried 2.8v-3.1v and this is only to pass at 200 mhz . By the way, its BH-5. Any one have any suggestions?
  2. OK, so I ordered some OCZ value VX last week, hoping (thinking) it would be CH-5 as used in the VX sticks (well not anymore). So I dig out about every topic about them, searched for timings, results, etc.. Well, I got them yesterday, turns out they are BH-5. Not the biggest deal only that I am completely lost now. I don't really know anything about them as I have been focusing on the CH-5 for some time now. I could start using the search no problem, only I don't know what to look for . Something I was wondering to myself about is that now Value VX and regular VX are BH-5, aren't they the same as the GOLD stuff then? So if I found some info on OCZ gold mem, would I be able to use it for me value mem also? If anyone has anything on this, please contribute; answers, DRAM config, it would all help . config see sig, thanks.
  3. Mushkin XP4000=CH-5 Best BH-5 IMO Gskill GH PC3200
  4. Please post results when you get them thanks, fearo
  5. Yup that is true, bot what really interests me in the VX is the up to 3.675v guarantee
  6. Yes Rabbi; when I said those speeds cannot be reached I was referring to the twinmos, not bh/ch5 in generaL. I think I'm gonna order some OCX VX this week
  7. if you can swallow another 25, I would honestly go for this one.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817103937
  8. It's sweet that you are getting nice results with them. Unfortunately those speeds can't be reached on an s754
  9. yeah Rabbi I saw it the second it got posted Kinda disappointed in the results in a way as I have been seeing 260 stable (but all on a s939  ) What you said was kinda interesting though, how you think your ch5-utt OCZ VX put less stress on your mem. controller. Well I assume my cpu will have a crap one (NC 0432 spqw or spaw: I know there's a big diff between them but can't remember which one of the 2 it was) So I al still doubting between gskill bh-5 or ocz vx both pc3200. But seeing these bh-5 results and ur insane CH5 ones, I might be getting the VX. ALso because you have already written down the DRAM config down nicely  fearo
  10. Ok, no biggie, hope they turn up today! Will be refreshing this page alot
  11. So what's up Rabbi, was really anticipating this, any news?
  12. I'd think that is not the max of the proc as you are cooling it with a mach 2. With a bit more tweaking you might get another 100mhz or more out of it, stable. You know, every proc is different, one is better than another, but phase-change just HAS TO result in a better overclock. I have never seen anyone that couldn't get more out of there system when they bought themselves a Prom. Again, that may be just me. fearo
  13. Hi opponent, I don't know if you've ever OC'd with BH-5 before, but imo, it is less simple than with tccd. With TCCd you just kinda put it at your prefered timings, preferd volts and thats it. With BH-5 there's things like burning in, and a shitload of other stuff (like Tref, ...)that could give you that extra 5mhz you are looking for. I would think everyone leaves that stuff as it is wuth TCCD, but then again, I could be dead wrong. fearo
  14. To put it really simple, TCCD can get you a higher HTT with looser timings. BH-5 will probably get you a lower HTT with aggressive timings. I myself am going to get myself some BH-5 soon for 2 reasons: -cheaper than TCCD with equal or sometimes better performance -I like to tweak, game, pifast. YOU could consider TCCD if: -You have enough money -Don't like to tweak or are scared to mess up your hardware. To be honest, in most (real life) apllications you won't notice the difference really, and if you are worried the BH-5 won't get as far as the TCCD, you can always use a divider fearo
