Anyone use the 310 Performance bios?

Has anyone compared the differences between the 310's and the 310p's?

The performance BIOS just adds some timing defaults/suggestions. My RAM didn't post with those defaults. Changing the timings, it worked just like the official version, so I reflashed back to official so I wouldn't have to bother resetting timings every time I loaded optimized.

I couldnt burn cd's with 3/10p and my NEC 3520a. I flashed to 3/10 and my burner worked fine.

Woks for me but no significant change in performance either. Unless you are having poblems with the offical one I or you are a bench jocky would just stay with 3/10.

These 310p's did not like my GSkill LC's. 310's work great for me. At the exact same settings that work well in the 310's, the 310'ps caused lots of errors in Memtest for me. Flashed back to 310's.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 0125 and 310?

 

I have been trying to find out and all I can see it the USB fix/memory compatibility issue.

 

Same sort of questions, is it faster or does it only change some values in the BIOS?

310 is slower but the is far better (stable) for Ballistix memory

Any other non-official bios version that's "better" than 0125?

 

I seem to be having problems getting my CPU to run at high fsb. It works perfectly well in 2.4ghz at 290x8.5 but refuses 300x8 which is 2.4ghz as well. I'll install my Vapochill LS later tonight and change my winchester 3500+ to a newcastle 3500+. The winchester didn't like sub-zero temperatures. I'll see then how things work.
