Audigy 4 sound card.

I was thinking about getting Creative Labs Audigy sound card for my PC.

Can someone tell me the difference between the Audigy 2 and Audigy 4....I mean what makes it worth the extra $70??

probably that the Audigy4 is so new that we've never even heard of it

 

if its better than an Audigy2 (which is the best sound card in teh world in my opinion) then its got to be good!

I own the SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro and have compared it to the Audigy 4. On a gaming level, I did not audibly notice any difference between the two. Recording is a different story: the software that comes with the A4 seems to be richer in features and produces a better quality recording than the A2. I don't do much recording and cannot justify the expense to upgrade to it. On a side note, I tested both using a set of Klpsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 speaker set.

I haven't even found a reason to upgrade from the SB Live! series yet.

I dont want any pci cards to block the intake of my videocard that VJ modded..
