red930 Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 I own the SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro and have compared it to the Audigy 4. On a gaming level, I did not audibly notice any difference between the two. Recording is a different story: the software that comes with the A4 seems to be richer in features and produces a better quality recording than the A2. I don't do much recording and cannot justify the expense to upgrade to it. On a side note, I tested both using a set of Klpsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 speaker set.
