WTF! Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I was trying to update my BIOS in Windows XP using winflash. I started it and a little window popped up saying An error has occured i clicked ok and didnt update my bios. The computer ran fine and i just turned off the computer. When i came back to turn it on. My monitor would not come out of sleep mode and there are NO BEEPS!!!! everything turns on fine but thats about it. Lights 1, 2, 3 are lit and 4 is not. Angry_Games Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 lol now you send it back to DFI and pay to have it repaired (usually about $35.00 if it is simple like soldering new bios socket...might be more because we'll have to supply a new BIOS chip for it also). send me an email and I'll get an estimate.
