Total Budget?

Drop the 3870 X2 for a 4850 or 4870

You can get cheaper RAM and a cheaper Power supply.

Use the saving to invest into a 22' or 24' widescreen moniter cause 1440 x 900 is very low res for new graphics cards..

Not crappy, maybe over paying for a few items, like the RAM and power supply, coulda gotten better video card setup for less, as the 3870X2 is expensive compared to ATI's new line up.

And the moniter is a lower resolution where newer GPU's aren't able to stretch out...

Decent build, but ya pretty much what ste said.

850W is pretty overkill for even a 3870X2, and with the 4850's and 4870's out you could get better performance from CF'd 4850's for about the same price as the 3870X2.

Although your build is still going to kick some ., at the res your playing at. I wonder if you can add a 4850 with the 3870X2 after sometime and go Tri-Crossfire? Is that possible?

Looks to me like you have a darn good rig. The only thing that I would have done differently is go for a full case.

Thanks for the kind words and to anwer a few questions I can't add anything but one gfu on the motherboard I bought. Didn't know at first that my mobo only had one pcie slot.
