hardnrg Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 there are two settings for mic on ANY soundcard or onboard audio: playback level (and mute) recording level (and mute) you need to unmute and raise the level for the microphone RECORDING level... and THEN you need to set the master recording source to microphone... that's it, it doesn't matter what game, VoIP, or recording program you are using, you need to enable, raise, and select the microphone

Waco Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 cod4 and I did'nt know I needed software??? my headset didn't come with any, Unless the game has built-in voice chat you need to use some sort of voice software and have a server to connect to. Stoff Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Unless the game has built-in voice chat you need to use some sort of voice software and have a server to connect to. well if you hear them then you ae logged to this server already. So >>> verify the settings again. Make sure mic is selected both under recording and playback (audio advanced controls) I know you dont record anything right now- butthis is just the way windows work
