Bleeble Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Verran thanks a lot! a lot of these terms r new to me, like tinning process, and heatshrinking. but question, wouldnt heatshrinking the entire wire make it a little stuff? what size sleeve or heatshrink would u recommend for the 3pins? and maybe 4pin wires? 1/8? 1/4? 1/2? http://www.jab-tech.com/Wire-Sleeving-c-69.html is the size the diameter? Size refers to the diameter of the heatshrink before it's shrunk. Most heatshrink shrinks to about half of its original size. I would think 1/8" would be sufficient for individual wires, but 1/4" would work if you do all three wires in one bundle. Either way, the smallest Jab-Tech has is 1/4".
