andrusk Posted April 20, 2003 Posted April 20, 2003 the box says only up to 2600+ but thats because when they made it, the 2600+ was the fastest chip out. Since the barton is pretty much the same thing as a tbred just 333fsb instead of 266 and 512 l2 cache you shouldnt have a problem cooling it. The vcore is the same as the tbred so the heat should be around the same. Also i had my system bus running at 402 mhz today 69 mhz past the 333fsb of the barton, and my v9 cooled the system just fine considering it was an overclocked 2100+ @ 202x10.5.
