Balabah Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I have a friend who is in the process of getting a computer built and is looking to use it as as recording studio. If anyone has any recomendations on a system settup your help would be appreciated. Looking for what would be the best settup for this as well as running the audio through a Harmon Kardon amplifier and jbl surround sound. Would it be best to use Optical or Digital Coaxial. cdoggown Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 There was a company I competed against when working for Gateway who produced PCs specifically for such a use. Im trying to remember who it was. If I can find it ill post a link, at the very least you can check out the specs they are using in their systems. EDIT: I think this was them. They are international, but apparently THE NAME in this sort of thing when it comes to PCs. I know I couldnt compete with them at Gateway, and this is when GW made high end machines! http://www.carillondirect.com/clnweb/index.jsp Good luck!
