hardnrg Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 well that puts my mind at ease at least somewhat... but the noise is still annoying lol... maybe it's coil whine from the pci-e part of the psu circuitry... hmmm
Silverfox Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 well that puts my mind at ease at least somewhat... but the noise is still annoying lol... maybe it's coil whine from the pci-e part of the psu circuitry... hmmm some PSUs are noisier under load, or, increase fan speeds under load. im sure you know this and stuff i just know that my Hiper will increase the 80mm fan speed depending on the load of the unit itself, which makes it a shade louder. the whine sounds a bit iffy tho... kingdingeling Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 here is where the uber advantage of Razor mouses comes in! As for your PSU, my 600W Enermax is quiet and powers my PC with ease. Even if I were to upgrade to a dual core, I think it would handle that just fine! Maybe its just your Vmod ripping apart the PCI-e part of your PSU!
