Actual Power Consumption Of Dual Core + Sli

well that puts my mind at ease at least somewhat... but the noise is still annoying lol... maybe it's coil whine from the pci-e part of the psu circuitry... hmmm

some PSUs are noisier under load, or, increase fan speeds under load. im sure you know this and stuff :) i just know that my Hiper will increase the 80mm fan speed depending on the load of the unit itself, which makes it a shade louder. the whine sounds a bit iffy tho...

a lot of things make a whine... my logitech mx518 makes a whine and i think most of the logitech mice do!!! :lol:

 

listen to your mouse! it's squealing! lol...

Nope...THIS logitech mouse doesnt...must be that UK power :lol:

here is where the uber advantage of Razor mouses comes in!

 

As for your PSU, my 600W Enermax is quiet and powers my PC with ease. Even if I were to upgrade to a dual core, I think it would handle that just fine! Maybe its just your Vmod ripping apart the PCI-e part of your PSU!
