Nodgiles Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I was hoping I could get some advice on something. First off let me say I know very little about cars. That being said, I want to drop a new engine into my 300zx 2+2 non turbo. My current engine is dead. I threw a valve and it damaged the head, says my mechanic. I found on the net that I can get a remanufactured engine for around $2500. I know that I cant drop in a turbo engine because it would require alot of modifications. Does anyone know of an engine that I could drop in that would not require much if any mods? I would really like to try and get something with a little more horsepower since I have to replace the engine anyway >< Thanks in advance for any advice! DevilMB3017 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 My best advice if you don't know a lot about cars, is see a mechinic to do it. Or buy a new car.
