Everything looks good encept for one item: the thermalcrap PSU :D:P . Since you haven't fully assembled the system yet, I would advise getting a better PSU RIGHT away. If you need help deciding, just let us know.

Edit: what mobo/CPU/video card setup will you be running on this system?

I must agree. When I order it, it seemed like a good deal. I have since decided on a 4400 dual core and =/> Gig Ram (OCZ or Corsair). With the amount of power hungry devices, I must get a higher quality psu. I have an Ultra X Connect 500w. It's ok. Any suggestions? Reliability is most important. PC Pwr & Cooling is out. Too much $...

Well I just oredered the final parts (CPU, mobo, memory, etc. for this forensic build. I took Bigred's advice and went dual core. This is definitely a worstation type rig. After much reading here I see OCZ is very good quality memory. 2 Gigs should do for now. I'm going to use my old 9600XT 256 MB AGP since this is not a gaming rig. I decided to wait a couple months to upgrade the ps to an OCZ. I may post some pics of the rig inside and out after completion. Hopefully this rig will help solve some serious computer crimes-FAST! :D
