Cobra136 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 (edited) My place of work recently changed isp's. Now some sites i used to visit dont work from here anymore(no not porn ). Is there anyway to find out if they were blocked at the firewall without flat out asking them? The majority of the sites i visit (like here) work fine...just a couple clan pages I visit. I know the sites are up because i can visit them from home. P.S. Sorry, they use a hardware firewall, no router, and switches. Uber Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 which sites? and the company could have blocked them on theirmain server, or it comes default on the hardware firewall?
Cobra136 Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 sites are www.clanaod.net and www.trbaa.com. Doesnt make sense that they would only block those two as i read more tech stuff on a daily basis then stuff on those sites lol. bigears Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 do they require plug-ins? if so, they might not be blocked, but your company could no longer has the plugins installed?
Arkadiy Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 How bout this, tell us what page actually comes up, "Can't Find, This Site Has Been Blocked, etc."
Cobra136 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 (edited) Just the typical "page cannot be displayed" message. Nothing about being blocked Not sure about the plugins thing tho...dont think so but im not positive.
