Burning Divx Movies

I have a DivX player and was wondering how can you burn a DivX movie without converting it first? I currently can only burn it to VCD/SVCD/DVD but it'll convert the DivX file to like MPEG or something similar to that (there are a few different MPEG things soo).

Anyone know how to burn a DivX movie file to a disc and keep it in its DivX format? Thanks.

But I am going to be playing it on a DVD/DivX Player...I always thought you have to encode it......I am currently using Movie DVD Maker, but it just converts the file.....so you are saying just burn the file straight to the CD? (which is actually making a data CD)

wow... all you do is make a regular data disk and burn the avi file to it

that's it.. you can put it in a folder, or in the root, it really doesn't matter...

why on earth are you converting a DIVX file to dvd to play on your DIVX player?

sounds a bit silly

DVD Shrink. then Nero

He doesn't want to burn them as DVDs, he wants to know how to burn Divx files so they can play on his DIVX PLAYER.

Like I said earlier, just make a Data CD and throw the file onto the CD. 3 minutes later, you have a disc that will play in your Divx player.
