Which Of These Two Cards Is Better

hi,i currently have the xfx geforce 6800 heres the link:

but i seen this card today,it says its a geforce fx 6800.i read the reviews and evry one had no problems with unlocking the extra pipes and shaders.unfortunatlly my xfx had artifacts when unlocking the extra pipes.im thinking that if i get this card ill b able to unlock extra pipes without artifacts. is it better than the xfx?and why is it better.heres the link:

Unlocking pipes is always a gamble. I don't think a different brand of 6800 would help or hurt the chances much either way. From what I understand, the older 6800's that were made last Spring/Summer/Fall have had a higher success rate.

If it is a more recent card then it is less likely for a successful unlocking of the card. Between the two though I would recommend the XFX branded one.

I just have to say this:

 

You are comparing the two CHEAPEST AGP 6800's that I could find on newegg.

 

Maybe that means nothing to some people, but I like to believe you get what you pay for. If you want a card that has the best chance of big performance, starting with the cheapest card you can find really doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I say go with the XFX. I never have had problems with XFX.

yeah go with xfx, if it's newer like they said, u may not be able to unlock the pipes but dont be discouraged
