bigdaddy25fb Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 so ive downloaded all the CD's from Suns page...ive burned the images...but when i pop the first disc in on start up it gives me an error saying boot.bin is missing....wtf...i dont want to download and extrac all that stuff again..its a pain in the butt....i figure i could try burning them again...ne ideas? bigdaddy25fb Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 i used alcohol 120% to burn them..i pulled the isos out of the zip files they came in and burned the isos using alcohol..ive done this a million times with dvds and cds before..so im pretty sure i know what im doing in that area..obviously if i just burned the zip files it wouldnt boot into the solaris subsystem installer...what pisses me off is that im probly gonna have to burn the first disc over and waste a CD...
