Is This A Good Digicam?

its the canon a95. it looks good to me and my brother knows quite a bit about this kinda stuff but so do most of you so do you like it? thats about as expensive as im willing to go so if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Those are really sturdy cameras. I've played around with that one, and i really like the way it feels. The pictures from it are also very crisp, i'd recommend that camera anyday :P

i have the A75... i personally like it a lot... i have a fully manual SLR and this camera gives me even more control over my photos! the automatic modes work very well most of the time, and the overlapped photo-stitch (the previously taken picture is displayed simultaneously to taking the current one, it's f'n fantastic) helps you take better panaromic / wide-angle / fish-eye type photos... i was particularly impressed by this...

 

there's so much to this camera that i still haven't played around with everything...

 

without bothering to look at the specs i imagine the functionality is probably pretty much the same if not identical and probably the main difference is resolution and zoom magnification... so i feel confident in recommending the A95 based on my A75 experience
