Well I was about to order a raptor 75Gig for $150, and maybe down the line get another and do them in a raid, but now im confused

 

Id be willing to pay for them both, seperated by some time as Im going to start getting some parts together to build a new rig. I also realize that the RAID controller makes a big jump up or down in the performance of the RAID as well...

 

so I guess it comes down to, how much faster are the raptors in RAID then the Big drives with ncq. We can all agree that the SCSI are the fastest... but for most of us its not worth the price as the money would be better spent else where to increase total system speed.
