Citation4444 Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 Today Microsoft officially released DX9, and also today ATI has released new Catalyst 3.0 drivers for DX9. Their prior DX9 drivers were beta; these are official. I can't wait til I get home from work to try these puppies out! There's been some speculation that Microsoft would delay releasing DX9 for nVidia's FX, but that turned out to be just that - speculation. Anyway, big day for us Radeon users. DirectX 9 This was the only one that I could find. The link goes to the DirectX 9 web setup. They mention that you can download DirectX 9 Redist, for later use. Hope that helps a little bit. Citation4444 Posted December 21, 2002 Posted December 21, 2002 My score is roughly the same. Reading the forum over at 3DRage, some are reporting reduced scores, others are getting higher scores. Go figure. They have solved my only problem with my 9700 Pro, stuttering on RalliSport Challenge. The stuttering is gone, and it's smooth as butter now. Did you do a fresh install?
