PineBark Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 I have some crap ram (not bad, but its still crap), I want to tighten the timings a little. What would be a maximum or a safe voltage to put through it? Right now im at 2.7 (its normally 2.65).
Vampire Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 I run 2.9v through my cheap value ram, all I have is crappy aftermarket heat spreaders.
Eva_Unit_0 Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Ram is VERY durable...even cheapo value ram can take over 3V. Basically, you can safely run whatever the max for your board is...I wouldn't hesitate at all to break 3V on any stick that I own. BabyBalrog Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Past 3 I would prefer to have them cooled, either with Good heat spreaders or with a fan situated right at them
