Siebenburgen Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 hey guys, I just picked up a Digital Coax Cable for my computer to hook into my receiver. But, after I have plugged it in, i dont have sound and i dont know what to do next... so, this is what i want it to do, how do i make this happen: I want all my music/games/dvds to play from my computer to my 5.1 home theater setup through SPDIF out. How do i enable SPDIF out for all those things? i have DFI NFII Ultra Infinity ( http://www.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_s...PRODUCT_ID=2141 ) Thanks. 94Camaro Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Ok from the spec of your motherboard, I see that you have and input and ouput for spdif. Siebenburgen Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 i got it to work by a complete accident lol.. it was a setting on my receiver, i set it to what the manual said and it did nothing, but i accidently set it to CD Digital and it started working Thanks for the help though guys lol The story if anyone cares: I was switching from my speakers (non spdif) to my headphones and i kept hearing echos on my head phones, i was like wtf mate... so i take them off and my speakers are working but they arent plugged in.... or are they?! the spdif was still plugged in and my receiver was saying CD Digital. lol...
