Duke Atreides Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 OK, I am running riot pricing out parts on some comps I will be building in the next two months. Currently for parts I check out PC Club, New Egg, Outpost, and Monarch, along with the usual merchants in the OKC region (Circuit City, Comp USA, Staples etc) Can you guys give me any other bookmarks for my comp for pricing parts? Looking for the cheapest available, but not interested in buying crap quality stuff. Thanks
gravy Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 alot of people use pricewatch.com for a good idea of what prices are going for, you'll find the lowest and the highest there, you'll alos find alot of misleading ads as well, like clicking on a link to see a vendors silly low price on thier site the price suddenly is only good if it is purchased with other parts, etc......so you have to take an average, but there's enough data there to form an informed opinion of pricing i think, at least in the retail market
