gunak87 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 I'm taking a CISCO class and my teacher wants a paper on signal clocking.(It has to do with cabling a WAN, and involves DTEs and DCEs. Problem is, she hasn't explained it to us, and there's about a sentence and a half in our curriculum. It would be very much appreciated if anyone could give any information about this. I've searched google, and it doesn't seem to wanna give me anything good.
cybergrunt69 Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Yes, signal clocking has to do with how DTE/DTC devices talk and maintain their state. delmar.edu has some good papers on this, and should help out. (thanks to google ) check out: http://www.informit.com/articles/article.a...=21318&seqNum=4 http://www.delmar.edu/Courses/ITNW1392/notes/sem2les4.html http://www.delmar.edu/Courses/ITNW1392/notes/sem2les1.html http://www.delmar.edu/Courses/ITNW1392/notes/sem2les2.html http://www.delmar.edu/Courses/ITNW1392/notes/sem2les3.html do you see a trend here?
