Task Manager

My task manager[control+alt+delete] only shows cpu useage and useage history, all the other option vanished, like end task. I can't use or see any other options there. What happened to it? How do I get it back to normal? Do I have to reinstall windows? Please help this newbie.

so your saying you only have the Performance tab available??

have you tried a system restore or gone into safe mode and choose last known good configuration?? sorry not a very good pic but is that the only screen you can get to? Try this Bring up the task mgr. and Double Click on any gray area see if it comes back to life??

OMG!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! IT WORKED!!!! I bought up the task manager and double clicked like you said, and it's fine again. THNK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!! YOU THE MAN!!!!!!!!

I've made that same mistake, Xp has some weird opts glad it worked out.
