DarkScorpion Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 No, theres ntohing wrong with running it 24/7. As for the watter additive, use redline Water-Wetter.

robAP Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/redline3.htm theres your water wetter. the SCCA club racers swear by this in the summer, specially down in texas. "Water Wetter is a unique wetting agent for cooling systems which reduces coolant temperatures by as much as

Pent uP Rage Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 (edited) I use Royal Purple PURPLE ICE in my WC setup..It's Water Wetter but PURPLE. Also, check out some automotive trans coolers before you buy that radiator. Want something really cool?(temps) Put a trans cooler in your panel instead of a window with a couple 120mm LED fans that will glow from behind the radiator. Any way, point is you can probably find a more robust radiator elsewhere. Try any of the Honda Racing websites. Just make sure fitting sizes are compatible Edited June 9, 2004 by Pent uP Rage
robAP Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 if you dont mind spending some money..... racing go karts typically use the honda CR125 motorcycle radiators. other offroad bikes use two radiators to fit aroudn the frame. check out using just one of those as its a nice small unit that 2x 120 fans blowing on it would be nice to have....kind of expensive, but if you watn top cooling efficiencey, an aluminum racing radiator is the way to go. thers some makers out htere....C&R make some awesome radiators....but youre looking at like $200 new for one of these things.... Pent uP Rage Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 (edited) JEGS has racing trans cooler kit for about $45. Not buying a radiator, buying a trans cooler, it's smaller and thinner. Edited June 9, 2004 by Pent uP Rage
