Agallion Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 So i just flashed up to 5950 on my 5900se and i install coolbits registry edit to look at my clock speeds just to make sure and i hit the Auto selcect button. WOW ok it set me at 514mhz core and 1.04ghz memory it saved it (which i didnt know) and i went to play farcry OH MAN THE ARTIFACTS THEY BURN!! so after crashing then just windows restarting and crashing i hold down ctrl and get everything good again (and stable for once ...doesnt like my 3200 oc very much) just beware of auto select..for it is not your friend

OweO2004 Posted April 29, 2004 Posted April 29, 2004 lol nah the auto select on my fx5900u put the core slower than it was already?! I mean what the heck! just manually overclock it slowely especially as the cards flashed. Up the corer n memory 5 mhz at a time until it starts to artifact/become unstable then back it off by 10 or so mhz and it should be stable.
