bp9801 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I've been rocking the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s for nearly a decade and never had an issue. Can most definitely recommend without a second thought. I had the 5.1 kit and while it sounded awesome the amps would go. After the second one I have them sitting on the fridge behind me waiting for the day I get them fixed or throw them away. I have not heard a set of dedicated computer speakers sound as good since. Always heard the 5.1s weren't as reliable as the 2.1s. Could always look for a used set on eBay, since I imagine amp replacement from Klipsch (or whatever company it uses since the 5.1s are EOL) would be pricey. Or just get a 2.1 from Best Buy.
