helium_biscuit Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Hi again! Another question: Which console is the best for getting exercise (when it's not possible to exercise outdoors due to inclimate weather)? Wiiu, Xbox360 or something else? (If it matters at all, my current exercise regiment is walking a mile every day, but I want something for extremely hot or cold days). Thanks!! ClayMeow Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Xbox One will have Shape Up in November and eventually Dance Central, so I'd say that's probably the best bet.

I'll be sure to set aside some money for the xbox one and shape up, to buy it in november. In the mean time what would be the best console for exercise? BluePanda Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 We've got an XBOX 360. I bought a kinect off ebay to play with. I ended up getting some of the dance games and ultimately the Nike+ game. I find it frustrating at times, and it does require a bit of space -- but it's sure kicked my ass in gear.
l1il Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I kind of enjoyed the Kinect Sport series of games. My brother has an 360, and we had a lot of fun boxing (my sister-in-law is one of the most fierceful opponent at this game, I think we were 50-50 win at a point). It is for everyone, in shape or not. Golf was cool also, tennis was so-so (or I was, at least ). The kinect is not the best ever camera/invention as it lags a bit, but we still had a lot of fun. If you have neighbours below you, keep away from jumping games. Best played with a group of friends or family (even my dad who doesn't enjoy VG did have fun. The pro bowling game is better than the one in Kinect Sports) Haven't tried the Nintendo, but honestly their gadget series looks a bit cheap, even more for the sold price. For exercise games to play alone, I couldn't say.
