damian Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) I don't know if I am late to the party but i found this relic of a post on Reddit For all the Time Warner Cable subscribers out there; here is a simple way to speed up load time for youtube videos. Go to your firewall settings and block the following IP range, 206.111.0.0/16 (step by step guide here) Now this might not work for everyone but, generally speaking, chances are good you will see an improvement. You can always resest the changes. And if you really want to get into the jist of it all, i suggest reading the thread. You will find a few posts accurately describing the matter. I did this myself and have already noticed a tremendous differene in buffer time (especially when viewing as 1080p) Source: http://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/13kmvd/have_time_warner_internet_but_can_barely_stream/ Edited March 11, 2013 by damian
