Gremlin Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Well since I have MSDN account, I decided to give Office 2013 a try at work.. I have been using Lync 2013 and Outlook 2013.. If no one has used Lync, It is basically a replacement for Netmeeting. Look has changed from 2010 and so far what I have used.. still Like 2010 better. If two people start talking to you, they combined the 2 windows into 1 single tabbed windows. Notification of a message is sort of big on the top right screen and is a bigger box than before.. I am hoping that option to reduce the size when the full version comes out .. Next is Outlook.. This is the most peeve of all.. Where I work, each user's email box maximum storage size is 200mb.. With Outlook 2010 and below, you could set a delivery point to you local PST folder.. Now what was Microsoft thinking??? They have disabled that feature... wtf.. When you get a new email, you get no new notification even though it is enabled.. But then again this is a beta I guess..
El_Capitan Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Haven't gotten around to upgrading to Office 2013, yet. Only use the word and excel docs, anyway.
