Shaggy Posted August 7, 2002 Posted August 7, 2002 I just got a cracked copy of GTA 3, but when i get into the game I cant read the text at all. I heard it was some problem with win XP, so I downloaded the newest patch, but the patch didnt work because it can detect whether or not the game is cracked or real. I installed Pro thinkin it wouldnt be as retarded as the Home edition... it ended up screwing my system up faster than anything I've ever seen... I had it for a week or so, and when I was done w/ it, it took for like 4 hours to defrag my slave partition for some very odd reason, when it ussually takes 10 mins after like a month... My comp never ran so slow, and never pissed me off so bad... oh well, I'm back to 2k... I switched to pro thinkin it might be better and cause one day after doing some windows update, my comp crashed while loading windows everytime I'd turn it on.... VolcomPimp Posted August 10, 2002 Posted August 10, 2002 No, I don't think we did anything wrong.... we're refering to the Myth warez release fo the game, if you baught the game it most likely works fine, might have some other xp problems I dono, but in the Myth release you need a patch for XP which I havn't seen on any sites or pubs in a while...
