sword_fish Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 haven't you updated your BIOS? flashing the BIOS often fixes RAM issues.
Tjj226_Angel Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 64 bit is the only option. However, you could just download it for free or go with Ubuntu 64 bit. It would suck to have to do a format just for that, but I would say it is worth it.
Stonerboy779 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 64 bit is the only way. Your 32-bit licence will work for a 64-bit install. If you don't change it you will be servearly limited your upgrade to 16gb of corsair was pointless too. 32-bit os restricts total memory VRAM included to 4gb. Tjj226_Angel Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I suppose if you had an SSD, you could dabble with pagefile. In theory you can create virtual memory off the hard drive, and with an SSD, it acts pretty close to normal ram.
