dupp Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 So here's my problem, when i stop prime95 it says 0 problems 0 warnings but when i open results.txt it says "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4, Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file." CONSTANTLY! Passed a memtest86 test (20-25 minutes) no errors found is there something i should worry about or ?
ccokeman Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Yep your overclock is not stable. You can get a rough idea of where your issue lies based on the test that failed
El_Capitan Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Try bumping up your Vcore a little bit more until you're stable. If you go up a couple notches and still have that issue, it may be your DRAM voltages, overclock, or timing's as well.
90sgamer Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Are you using the latest version? I used v2511 for what seemed like forever, but there is v266 out there too with better Intel Core ix support.
