hawkin90 Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 It's the idle temps. I ran burn test just now, and at only standard level the temps are at 75-80...
hawkin90 Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 So. I did a huge cleanout today with compressed air and switched my 480's with the new 580's I just got. I also clocked my pc up to 4GHz again. Now idle temps are 40-45. My idle temps dropped 15 degrees after cleaning out and changing cards! And those temps were with 3.6GHz OC. What a difference! That was after a bubble, in the tube of thermal paste, literaly blew stuff everywhere grrr Could of ended really bad but now it has fun sitting at 4.3GHz all day long Ouch? Wait the drinking
