First time overclocking, need advice

Recommended Posts

This was the last stable setup I was able to get

When I try to boost it to 230, it quietly crashes behind the windows loading screen for about 30 seconds, then BSOD and then I turn my tower off.

Any suggestions on where to proceed from here/what needs to be increased or modified?

Thanks

increase your CPU voltage and push on. Also put your CPU-NB voltage to 1.3 i just noticed that you have the same mobo as my friend and i overclocked his 965 for him on it.

After playing around with the CPU and CPU-NB voltage, I can't even get it to boot windows all the way. Is there something else I could mess with to try and fix it?
