Config Processor - Core i7 950 Mobo - Gigabyte GA X58A UD3R Ram - GSkill Ripjaws F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI Ram (3X2GB) PSU - Corsair HX 650 CPU Cooler / Fans - Thermal Right Venomous X / 2 X Cooler master 90CFM Blue LED Fans Thermal Paste - Tuniq TX4 Cabinet - NZXT Tempest Evo GPU - Sapphire 6870 1GB Card (No OCed) Primary Purpose :- Maya MR Or Vray Rendering Current Temp & Voltages Idle Full Load Target Clock Frequency 3.5 GHz To 4GHz can AnyOne Tell me How Much Performance Gain i should expect when i OCed Proccy to the 4GHz Plz Tell me settings of bios which i should use so System will remain stable at higher clock Thanks In Advance Edited June 4, 2011 by coldhart Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
IVIYTH0S Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Aww man nice setup!! I'd push for higher than 4ghz since you have a better cooler and potentially better chip than I!! I'd recommend reading up on one or two i7 1366 overclocking guides, they will familiarize you with the bios terminology and how to balance what settings for what pieces.
